Bio:
I have been connected to the visual arts for most of my life. Now that I am retired, I dedicate my time fully to my art practice. I am a member of ArtWorkArtPlay, an online community of artists; my work has been exhibited at the Meaford Craig Gallery, the Owen Sound Artists Co-op, Meaford Hall Gallery and the LE Shore Gallery. It has been featured in the GreyBruceSimcoe online magazine and the International Telephone Exhibition. For two years my paintings were selected to be hung as part of the Owen Sound Banner Contest.
Nature’s patterning influences my bold brush strokes, while the intent of my work is to advocate for sustainable living and to bring awareness to Earth’s beauty, its oddities, and the often unseen. As an impressionistic landscape artist, I incorporate my love of rocks, wetlands, and wide open spaces. I experiment with different techniques and media, letting my work constantly evolve. I work from my home studio in Meaford, on the beautiful shores of Georgian Bay Ontario.
