Bio:
As with so many artists, I was unable to devote myself to full time painting but art finds an outlet somehow and mine was with our Backstreet Cafe here in Meaford and my decor shop, Parrots and Parsnips in Thornbury. I have studied at OCA, New School of Art, Haliburton School of Art and Design, and Marea Studio in Puerto Vallarta..

so many but here are a few: Van Gogh, Monet, Andrew Wyeth, Arthur Shilling, Egon Schiele, Carl Beam, Denyse Thomasos. Our local artist Alice Cowen and Marcela Bernal, who I studied with in Puerto Vallarta, continue to inspire and encourage me.
exciting life moments:
A trip on a Honda Motorcycle across Canada, USA and Central America for one year in the ‘70’s and repeating it again in a travel camper with our children for two years.
the purpose of art:
Art, for me, is communing and connecting with others through painting, music, sculpture and writing.
