Mickey Cullen

Bio:

My formal art training was at Downsview Collegiate and Central Technical High School
in Toronto. However, I did not pursue a career in art. Fast forward 45 yrs to retirement and I again picked up a paint brush.

I have lived in Meaford Ontario for 20 years and the spectacular landscapes of the
Beaver Valley and beautiful Georgian Bay have been my inspiration. The autumn with
it’s vibrant and varied colours is one of my favourite subject for paintings. Landscapes and florals in acrylic are my preferred subjects but I am always ready to try
a different subject matter or new medium. This keeps me excited and interested in
exploring my creative side.

Being a member of the Meaford Creative Arts Association group has helped me enjoy
the support of many like minded friends. Their informed critiques have helped improve my work over the years.
