Join us for a staged reading of Yasmina Reza’s Tony Award-winning play, ‘ART’.
Date: TBD
This isn’t a full production, but a focused performance that strips the play down to its sharpest elements: the dialogue, the ideas, and the actors’ voices. The story begins when a man buys a seemingly plain, white painting for a massive sum, triggering a hilarious and heated debate that threatens to unravel his lifelong friendships.
Through the lens of a single piece of modern art, the play explores the fragile nature of friendship and the subjective way we all perceive value. It is the perfect companion to the themes of The Internal Universe, questioning whether the beauty—and the meaning—of what we see lies in the object itself, or in the mind of the observer.
