Tanya Read & Viz Saraby: Nobody’s Cone

July 17 to September 1, 2026

Tanya Read & Viz Saraby

This exhibition explores the quiet anxieties of contemporary life through the lens of two singular, symbolic protagonists.

Tanya Read introduces us to Mr. Nobody, an “everyman” character whose presence in drawings and sculptures serves as a poignant mirror for the loneliness and ennui of the modern age. Through Nobody, we confront the hollow spaces of the urban experience.

In dialogue with these themes, Viz Saraby presents the narrative of Cone. A familiar icon of caution, Saraby’s traffic cone navigates a world defined by overprotection and paranoia. Together, these artists use graphic simplicity to interrogate the psychological weight of safety and the isolation of the individual in an increasingly guarded society.
